No worries...only one person has gotten the answer to my riddle...
It's a wheelchair ramp leading up to a steep set of stairs. I guess it's about as funny as a rubber crutch.
I think that is hilarious. It must be a bit disheartening to wheel up that ramp only to see what's waiting on the other side...

Hey Bick..This is the first time I've sat down at the computer with time to spare and I noticed your blog. I enjoyed reading about your Chinese New Year time. Glad you're getting some time with a real family. Sounded delicious and filling.
I didn't see what you were talking about. All I saw was the railing looked like it was painted like a snake.
